It is always interesting that we all have...Shelby,<br /><br />It is always interesting that we all have the same prompting questions but our answers are always somewhat similar and very different at the same time. I really enjoyed that you would like to include your students in the rule making process. That is a very good idea. If they help you come up with the rules, then they will probably be more inclined to follow them. I also agree with your group work. I too would like to have my classroom set up in a manner that is conducive to learning in groups. Especially with art, as well as other areas of content, setting desks up in groups can often times be more effective in the learning process for students then if they were sitting alone. It is very important to me that my students, like yours, learn from one another and feed off of each others successes and failures.
